The following shows a comparison of the 3-Color/4-Color Edge Sequences on the 3D and 4D cubes. The sequences are different but the setup configurations are the same so they are functionally equivalent as is the solution method. In other words solve it the same way as the 3D cube which is by using half-twists or rotation of the whole hypercube to make one of the following setups, use the sequence to fix one to four misplaced cubies and then repeat the process until all of the edge cubies are solved. There is another set of these four sequences for the middle layer, the inner layer becomes the outer layer with 4D rotation so no additional sequences are needed for it.

With the 4D cube it is possible to get a single twisted edge as shown below (a 4D edge has three cubies). To solve it use macro 4C-1TWE which uses Sequence 4C-E3 four times (76 moves, see details here).
